Beth Hart
Beth Hart is one of my all time favorite female singers. She is so honest and raw. I listened to her Screamin’ For My Super album continuously for a good six months. She touches me deep in my soul, and her story is amazing. I own many of her CDs and I have Beth Hart Live at Paradiso DVD. It gives me chills every time I watch it.
I listened to Beth Hart a lot when I was lost. I didn’t feel alone when I had Beth playing. I didn’t have a really great relationship with my mother, and she died when I was seventeen. I always felt as if I’d messed up, ruined our time together. I almost felt as if she was upset with me from Heaven. This was before I went through the journey to relight my soul. It was the prelude to it. As I worked through the novel I worked through my relationship with my mother as well as my vulnerabilities and fears.
This why I love Beth Hart so much. She shares all of her life’s experiences with you. She sings of her mother, her experiences with men, her addictions. She is ashamed of nothing, nor should she be. You wanna talk about an inspiration. And Beth does it with such unbridled passion. You find strength and friendship in her words when you need them the most.
